Training for the Youth Volunteers in Lucknow and Gwalior will be led by FH India.
They will be trained in two rounds – 2-day induction and 1-day refresher, where they will be oriented on:
- Mosquito borne disease prevention
- Source reduction
- Diagnostics, and treatment (non-technical)
- Training on digital skills: geo-tagging, use of social media
- Leadership skills
- Street theater, script writing
- Citizen engagement and
- Gender
- After the training sessions, 500 Youth Volunteers would have clarity on their role in community engagement and advocacy, their reporting responsibilities and the incentives linked to their engagement as referenced above.
