GOAL: Garner civic action towards mosquito borne diseases by helping to create a bridge between communities and municipal bodies and health authorities.
OBJECTIVES
- To create a cadre of 500 youth volunteers for taking action against mosquito borne diseases.
- To improve responsiveness of municipal authorities to resolve complaints raised by communities.
- To ensure availability of rapid testing kits and medicines (as applicable) available with Urban ASHAs and UPHCs by Health Authorities.
Coverage: 200 slums, 0.4M Households, 2M beneficiaries
Geography: Lucknow in Uttar Pradesh and Gwalior in Madhya Pradesh states of India
